Saturn is the ruler of the sign Capricorn and the 10th House, the sign Capricorn falls between periods of December 22nd to January 20th. Saturn was a major roman God, In the Greek mythology Saturn was called Kronos, the son of Uranus and Helen, his wife was Rhea, his sons Ceres, Jupiter and Verities.
The mythology is telling us that Saturn had dismissed his father Uranus from his throne, and he became the ruler of the Gods, furthermore the legend is telling us that Saturn was tolled that one of his son’s will overturn him from his throne, there for he swallow all of then except Zeus. Rhea his wife submitted him with a stone instead of Zeus> Zeus did take his place doing that Zeus sent his father to exile. Being in exile Saturn continues to receive his obedience and honour.

Saturn is symbolizing the restriction, the limitation.
