Neptune is the ruler of the 12th House and the sign Pisces. The sign Pieces fall between the periods of February 20th to March 19th.
Neptune is circling the zodiac in about 165 years, which means Neptune is visiting each sign for about 14 years.
In the year 1840 the scientists Adam’s and LeVerrir independently developed a mathematical prediction that near Uranus exists another planet.
On September 1846 Neptune was found within a degree of the predicted position. Neptune can only be seen with a telescope, amongst the outer planet , his diameter is about 30K Miles.
In the Greek mythology Neptune was called Poseidon, and the roman’s called him Neptune. After the world creation (according the mythology) the world was divided to three parts, One part goes to Jupiter the God of the Havens, the second part goes to Pluto the master of the underworld namely the master of Hell, and the third part goes to Neptune the master of the sea’s.
Along with the sea’s Neptune had been given to rule on Atlantis, Neptune is living on the bottom of the ocean in a huge palace, he use ti travel on a two horse carriage holding a three blades pitchfork.
Neptune was the son of the Titans Cornus and Rhea, the brother of Jupiter-Zeus, Hera, Hades- Pluto, Hestia, and Demeter, as he was born, his father swallow him, as his other brothers and sisters, since Cornus was afraid of a prophesy that foresee, Cornus dismissal from his throne by one of his descendant. Zeus that was not swallow by his father, made Cornus to throw up his descendant.
In Astrology Neptune represent the human awareness and consciousness, water in astrology represents feelings and emotions.
Astrological Neptune represents the ability to give, the ability to sacrifice, and to reach the degree of a martyr, to serve the idealistic idea, the utopia. On a higher level Neptune represent the mystical ability, the creative inspiration in arts, literature and music.
